Tell us about the initiative and what has been achieved in the last 12 months

The Grassroots Trust Velodrome trikes programme caters for anyone of all ages and abilities, whether you're new to cycling and fitness, living with limited mobility, an intellectual impairment, you're undergoing rehabilitation following illness or injury. We have a fleet of trikes that vary in style and functionality with coaches trained in trike use, safety, and rehabilitation to guide all our participants.
Despite covid disruptions, the Grassroots Trust Velodrome offers trikes classes every weekday throughout the year for close to 100 riders of all abilities per week.
